The rules for using Split, buying credits and running ads. Last updated 1 November 2026.
Using Split
By using Split you agree to these terms. You must be 13 or older; if you’re under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms too.
Your account
Keep your password safe. You’re responsible for what happens in your account.
Credits and payments
Credits pay for AI editing. They don’t expire and can’t be exchanged for cash. Split Plus renews monthly until you cancel. Credits are not refundable once bought, except when a payment fails or you’re charged twice; then we refund you in full.
Ads
Ads must be honest and legal. We may reject or remove any ad. If we reject your ad before it runs, you get a full refund. Ads removed for breaking these rules are not refunded.
What’s not allowed
Breaking the law, hacking or overloading Split, or using it to harm others.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Liability and law
Split is provided as is. We aren’t liable for lost work or indirect losses; our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months. These terms follow the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
