Who we are

Split is made in Nigeria. We are responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at team@usesplitapp.com.

What we collect

• Account: your name, email and password (stored scrambled).
• Purchases: what you bought and when. Card details go to our verified payment partner, not to us.
• Ads: the image, link and stats of ads you run.
• Usage: pages and features used, crash reports, device type.

Your videos

Editing happens on your device. When you use SplitIT or Genjitsu, the parts needed for that edit (like the transcript or frames) are sent to our AI providers to do the edit and are not used for anything else. We don’t store your videos on our servers.

Who we share it with

We only share data with trusted, verified third parties that help us run Split: payment processing, AI editing and speech to text, account storage, analytics and hosting. Each one gets only what it needs for its job and must keep it safe. We don’t sell your data.

Cookies

Needed cookies keep you signed in and remember your cookie choice. Analytics cookies, only if you accept them, show us which pages are used. Change your choice any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

Your rights

You can see, correct, download or delete your data. Delete your account in Settings, or write to us. The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 gives you these rights.

How long we keep it

While your account is open. When you delete it, we remove your data within 30 days, except payment records we must keep by law.
